Our Policy

Désordre curates exclusive, limited-run garments and accessories from leading designers. Each piece is handled with care and checked prior to dispatch. As our inventory is extremely limited, we are unable to accommodate change-of-mind returns or refunds where the fit, style, or preference does not suit.

We do offer an exchange or store credit for eligible full-price purchases, provided the item is unworn, unaltered, and in its original condition with all tags attached, and is returned at the client’s arrangement within 5 business days of delivery. Returns can also be made in-boutique during business hours.

Because we focus on exclusivity and low inventory, we cannot hold or reserve items for extended periods. If you love a piece, we recommend securing it promptly.

Full-Price Purchases

Returns for exchange or store credit must be made within 5 business days of receiving your order.
All returned items must be in original, unworn condition, with tags and packaging intact.
Returns must include the original receipt or proof of purchase.
Store credits are valid for 3 months from the date of issue.

Désordre does not offer refunds unless required by Australian Consumer Law (e.g. for a confirmed product fault).

Discounted & Sale Items

All items purchased at a discounted or sale price are final sale. No returns, exchanges, or credits will be offered unless the product is deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law.

Return Conditions

Garments must not have been worn, altered, or washed.
Items must not have been used in photo shoots, social media content, or for any commercial or promotional purpose.
All original tags and packaging (including garment bags and boxes) must be returned.
Swimwear, lingerie, and jewellery are final sale due to hygiene reasons.
Shoes must be tried on indoors on a soft surface; soles must be unmarked and returned in the original shoebox.
Désordre will not accept garments damaged while in your care.

Returning or Exchanging

You may return or exchange your online purchase at the Désordre Boutique, or by contacting our team to arrange return shipment. Please email concierge@desordrestore.com with your name and order number to request a return.

Once your request has been approved, please return the item using a reliable, trackable courier service. Désordre is not responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit.

The cost of return shipping is at the customer’s expense. We do not refund original shipping charges for returned goods, except where the item is confirmed faulty.

International Returns

For international orders, returns must be clearly marked as “Goods Returned to Sender” to avoid duties or taxes on re-entry. Désordre does not refund duties, import taxes, or fees charged at checkout or upon delivery.

Prices on desordrestore.com are inclusive of Australian taxes and import duties where applicable. However, any additional destination duties, customs fees, or handling charges are the responsibility of the recipient. If an order is refused or returned due to unpaid duties, the cost of return and associated fees will be deducted from any applicable store credit.

Faulty Items

If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us at concierge@desordrestore.com. We will assess the item and, if deemed a genuine manufacturing fault, will offer a repair, replacement, or credit in line with Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds are only issued when a repair or replacement cannot be provided. The cost of return shipping will only be covered for items confirmed as faulty.

Gift Cards

Gift Cards are non-refundable and are valid for 3 years from the date of issue. They can be redeemed both online and in-store nationally.
